2007 was good to us...

alex and i saw the skies of scotland
walked through ALL of london
lived the life in vegas...and lost some money, too
drank our fair share of chivas
and moved into an apartment all our own in a sweet neighborhood WITH parking...
he was on wheel of fortune
was a best man at an amazing couple's wedding
and
started grad school
among other things...
i shot a few campaigns that i am very proud of
traveled to the caribbean for the first time
and
finally set up my art studio.

we learned how to make sweet potato pie and candied yams like our grandmas
how to get paid to travel
that life includes loss
and yoga and dodgeball are good for our souls
that there is nothing like close friends and family
that good people do exist (in LA, too)...
and
mainly
that our love continues to be something magical and dynamic.

2007 was fantastic...
but
2008 is going to be the best year yet!
